After owning his own Professional Engineering firm in Tallahassee for over 30 years, Mr. Baldwin joined BCEI in 2003.

He has worked primarily on building structures and special structures. He has designed power plants; chemical plants; office, medical, educational, storage, manufacturing and residential buildings; retaining walls; signs; cold-formed steel trusses and lift-slab construction.

Mr. Baldwin received the Florida Engineering Society State Award in 1986 for “Outstanding Technical Achievement” and the FES Big Bend Chapter’s Award for “Outstanding Services to the Profession” in both 1978 and 2008. In 1989 he received the FES Big Bend Chapter’s “Engineer of the Year” Award.
